Overview:
Location: Albany, NY 12237
Hourly Rate: $60 to $75/hour

We are seeking a "Part time" Business Analyst to support our NYS client with a healthcare-focused Provider Procurement initiative. This role will assist in documenting business and technical requirements, analyzing provider business processes, and developing procurement documentation for a Provider Management Module. The ideal candidate brings strong healthcare systems experience and enterprise IT knowledge.

Duties:

Document business and technical requirements for a Provider Management Module RFP.
Assess current state provider business processes and translate current state into future state business processes or requirements.
Perform market research and provide insights into provider management systems and business processes across the country.
Draft Provider module key performance indicators (KPIs) and measurable business outcomes.
Support meetings with stakeholders to solicit feedback on requirements and RFP content.
Assist with developing an implementation strategy and timeline to implement a provider management module.
Develop bidder questions based on the RFP scope and requirements.
Develop high-quality and grammatically correct RFP content.
Assist with meeting coordination including scheduling, agenda development, and meeting minute documentation.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree.
8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst working with large-scale healthcare solutions.
3+ years of experience in general IT systems, including formal training or education.
3+ years of experience working on enterprise systems or projects.

Desirable Qualifications:

Master’s degree.
Certifications and experience with process improvement techniques such as Lean Six Sigma, Agile, PDCA cycles, or Kanban.
Certifications or experience in Project Management, Business Analysis, ITIL, or similar frameworks.
