We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of nursing practices, medical terminology, and patient assessment, along with experience in various healthcare settings. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients across diverse populations, including those with complex medical needs.
Registered Nurse (RN) Duties:
- The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and responses to treatment.
- Educate patients and families about health management and disease prevention.
- Perform procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, and wound care.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to NCQA standards.
- Manage acute pain through appropriate interventions and medication administration.
Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements:
- Current RN license in the state of New York
- Familiarity with geriatrics preferred
- Background in long-term care facilities preferred
