Brant Lake Camp Administrative AssistantWe are seeking a highly organized, dynamic administrator to support our leadership team and serve as a key point of contact for our camp community. This role blends administrative operations, parent-facing communication, and creative support, and offers flexibility for working parents, family focused perks, meaningful work, and the opportunity to be part of our camp community .
Schedule & CommitmentSummer (June 1 – August 15)
- Live on campus as part of our camp community (housing provided)
- 6 days per week during camp day hours
- Tuition-free camp available for boys who are a good fit for our program
Fall, Winter, Spring (August 15 – May 30)
- Approximately 25 hours per week
- Flexibility for remote work, but ability to meet in person in NY/CT as needed is preferred
- Monday–Friday, ~5 hours per day (we can be flexible around family commitments and school schedules)
Qualifications- Experience in an administrative role (ideally within a family-facing organization such as a school, camp, or medical office)
- Strong technology skills and comfort learning new systems independently
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Experience with Google Workspace
- Graphic design experience or strong aesthetic skills and willingness to learn
- Strong parent-facing customer service skills (phone and email)
- Self-motivated, dependable, and proactive
- Ability to manage your own time and meet deadlines
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and manage projects for different departments
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the director team
- Serve as an important point of contact for parents via phone and email
- Design and create marketing and communication materials
- Assist with social media content creation
- Learn and manage our online platforms, including running reports and gathering data
- Create seasonal newsletters and parent information booklets
- Support directors and medical staff with camper forms and documentation
- Draft and send mass communications to parents, campers, and staff
- Manage the summer office and supervise office staff
- Oversee transportation coordination, operational logistics, and payroll support
