Job Summary:
As a Laundry Attendant for Mirbeau, you play an essential role in supporting the daily rhythm of our spa and resort. Working collaboratively across departments, you’ll help deliver the exceptional comfort and quality our guests expect. You’ll clean, press, and distribute linens, towels, robes and other textiles- ensuring each item meets our Forbes-rated standards, contributing to the comfort, polish, and elevated feel each guest is deserving of, enhancing every moment of their stay.

Pay Rate: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour
- This role requires availability Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings, with the possibility of additional days/shifts.
Job Responsibilities:
- General Duties, Cleanliness & Organization
- Arrive on time in a clean uniform with name tag, ready for every scheduled shift
- Maintain a clean, organized laundry room and surrounding areas at all times
- Prepare all linens and towels for washing, ensuring proper machine loading
- Separate all laundry, checking for valuables, damage, or stains
- Set aside stained items for special treatment, and damaged items for alternative use
- Load and unload washers and dryers promptly at the end of each cycle
- Follow all washing and drying instructions, including correct temperatures for each fabric type
- Iron sheets and pillowcases as required; ensure iron is properly cooled and shut off at the end of use
- Properly fold sheets and towels before distribution
- Ensure the laundry area is tidy at the end of the shift, including: floors swept and mopped, lint traps cleaned, trash emptied and removed, machines shut down properly
- Machine Operation & Maintenance
- Ensure all laundry equipment is turned on, functioning properly, and in safe operating condition
- Understand the operation of all machines, equipment and chemical usage
- Shut down machines properly and clean lint traps daily
- Report any issues with machinery or operations to management promptly
- Linen Handling & Distribution
- Shake, sort, dry, iron and fold linens to meet Forbes and Mirbeau standards
- Stack and store linens neatly and in designated areas
- Distribute clean linens, towels, and robes to Spa Attendants, Housekeeping and other departments as needed- ensuring all departments have proper supplies
- Ensure no stained or damaged linens are circulated
- Additional Support & Requirements
- Wash all Food & Beverage textiles for next-day use
- Communicate any concerns or issues in laundry operations to management
- Complete any additional tasks as assigned by management

- Ability to follow directions accurately and carry out tasks efficiently
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Physical Requirements
- Must be in good physical health, with the ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs required
