The Role
As a Senior Recruiter, you will own high-impact, end-to-end searches for U.S.-based roles using our AI-powered platform. You will act as a strategic recruiting partner to clients, working closely with founders and the engineering team to shape how AI is used in modern recruiting.
This is a high-ownership role in a fast-paced startup environment, ideal for someone comfortable operating independently, managing multiple searches, and making strong hiring decisions with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Run full-cycle recruiting for U.S.-based roles using Clera’s AI platform
- Review AI-generated matches and identify the strongest, most relevant candidates
- Interview and qualify candidates, delivering concise, high-signal shortlists to hiring managers
- Join client calls to clarify role requirements and provide strategic hiring guidance
- Act as a trusted partner to clients, including challenging unclear or unrealistic expectations
- Own candidate pipelines end-to-end, ensuring efficient and organized process flow
- Provide structured feedback to the engineering team to improve matching logic and workflows
- Maintain accurate candidate notes and recruiting documentation
- Prioritize and manage multiple searches in parallel, driving them to successful hires
Requirements
Requirements
- 3+ years of recruiting experience for U.S. clients or U.S.-based roles
- Experience working in fast-paced environments (startup or high-velocity agency)
- Strong client-facing skills, including communication and expectation management
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to work aligned with Pacific Time (PST), including occasional evening or weekend calls
- High comfort level with ATS, recruiting tools, and AI-driven workflows
- Strong judgment in evaluating skills, experience, and culture add
- High ownership, reliability, and ability to work independently
Nice to Have
- Experience recruiting across multiple functions (engineering, sales, operations, G&A)
- Background in both agency and in-house recruiting
- Hands-on experience improving recruiting tools, processes, or products
- Proven success managing high-volume pipelines and multiple searches simultaneously4
Role Details
- Location: LATAM or U.S. (Remote)
- Schedule: Flexible, 40–50 hours per week aligned with PST
