Overview:
We are seeking a Project Onboarding Lead / Junior Project Manager who will support our Client’s PMO team. We are seeking a versatile team member who can handle various tasks and roles within a project management office, especially in utility projects. Here are the key aspects of this role: onboarding resource management, project team collaboration, and support project execution.
Duties
- Coordinate the onboarding of new project team members, completing all required steps efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain up-to-date project rosters, reflecting all resource changes and assignments.
- Manage and grant required system access for project team members.
- Monitor and track compliance with client and firm security and training requirements.
- Maintain all resource management documents (team org charts, onboarding guide, emergency contact information, etc.).
- Regular communication with client counterparts to update on staffing changes and client system accesses.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding-related questions from project team members and stakeholders.
- Continuously improve onboarding processes by gathering feedback and identifying areas for efficiency.
- Address questions from project team members on overall project processes and procedures
Mandatory Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in a project management role with familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira...etc.
- 3+ Years' experience as a Team Lead for large organizations with a focus on HR/Onboarding tasks.
- 2+ years of experience creating and maintaining various types of trackers, with a keen attention to detail and high organization.
- 1+ years' Experience with ad hoc reporting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Ability to report on-site at client site as needed.
