Job Description
- Minimum of 7 years in data engineering, risk metric modeling, and identity data.
- Over 5 years of experience with both relational databases and distributed systems, including Snowflake.
- Extensive experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills.
- Capable of simplifying complex identity data stories for senior executives and stakeholders through reports.
- Proficiency in various metrics such as KRIs, KPIs, KCIs, and OKRs.
- Comfortable in a dynamic, agile, and collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication skills, especially in supporting teams as an identity data SME (Subject Matter Expert).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
- Master's degree is preferred.
- Relevant professional certifications in data engineering and visualization (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional).
- Proven ability to handle large, complex data sets and perform detailed data analysis.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred
- Experience with various programming languages and data orchestration tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead the orchestration and definition of a collection of IAM metrics, including IAM organization OKRs, IAM security risk metrics, IAM operational metrics, and IAM service delivery and adoption metrics.
- Work with IAM teams to create effective measures for their areas (e.g., operations, engineering) and integrate these into broader IAM metrics reporting.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate a metrics roadmap to showcase IAM metrics' progress and maturity.
- Collaborate with IAM Service teams to enhance and remediate metrics as needed.
- Work with IAM Service Leads to increase the IAM organization's visibility of identity data across the company.
- Prioritize data pipelines based on risk visibility to influence demand processes.
- Ensure complete and accurate data visibility for risk metrics by partnering with the IAM Engineering team.
- Perform manual data analyses and metric illustrations while awaiting automation solutions.
- Act as a metrics and data SME for the IAM Security & Governance team and IAM Service Leads as needed.
- Serve as an identity data SME for data engineers throughout the IAM organization.
- Design, build, and manage executive and stakeholder reporting of IAM metrics.
- Support stakeholder discussions about metric outcomes when necessary.
- Conduct routine data quality checks to ensure data integrity for IAM metrics.
- Utilize advanced analytical thinking to make informed judgments and find innovative solutions.
