Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces regularly.
Handle floor care responsibilities including carpet cleaning, waxing floors, and polishing to uphold a polished appearance throughout the property.
Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure availability for staff and guests.
Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities and operate janitorial equipment safely and efficiently.
Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold facility standards.
Support housekeeping management with inventory control and documentation of cleaning tasks completed during each shift.

Experience

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is highly preferred.
Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment enhances efficiency in maintaining large or high-traffic areas.
Experience in janitorial or custodial roles demonstrates a strong understanding of sanitation standards and safety procedures.
Knowledge of floor care methods such as buffing, waxing, and carpet extraction is advantageous.
Exposure to hospitality environments provides valuable insight into guest service expectations and operational standards.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail is essential for success in this role.
